Calling all NRIs/PIOs in Jordan – Contribute to Armed Forces Flag Day Fund (AFFDF) Kendriya Sainik Board, New Delhi, (KSB) is the apex body of the Government of India and is responsible to ensure implementation of Government policies and schemes for the welfare of Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and their families. The Board has Hon’ble Raksha Mantri as its President and other members include Chief Ministers of State/UTs, three Service Chiefs and other dignitaries. Secretary(KSB) heads the Secretariat of the Board and manages the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund (AFFDF). These funds are utilized to run a large number of welfare schemes for ex-Servicemen, martyrs’ widows, as well as their dependants. This is to request the NRI/PIOs community in Jordan to make generous contributions to the AFFDF as a token of their solidarity and recognition of valuable contributions made by the Armed Forces to the Nation. Contributions to the AFFDF can be made using any of the following means :- i. By Cheque/Demand Draft drawn in favour of Armed Forces Flag Day Fund. ii. Online through RTGS/NEFT. Bank Details are as under :- iii. Online through the website of KSB (http://www.ksb.gov.in/ Rest assured that the contributions so received will be used for the genuine welfare activities of the needy Ex-Servicemen community, in its entirety.
