71st Independence Day Reception

On the occasion of the 71st Independence Day and to celebrate the 70th Anniversray of India’s Independence, Ambassador Smt. Shubhdarshini Tripathi, hosted a Reception at India House in Amman, Jordan on 15 August 2017.

H.E. Mr. Imad N. Fakhoury, Hon’ble Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, was the Chief Guest on the occasion which was attended by esteemed Ministers, members of the diplomatic corps in Jordan, eminent Jordanian citizens and members of the Indian community in Jordan.

The event was graced by the presence of H.E. Mrs. Lina Annab, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism, H.E. Mrs. Majd Shweikeh, Hon’ble Minister of Information and Communications Technology, H.E. Mr. Muhannad Shehadeh, Hon’ble Minister of State for Investment Affairs and the Chief of the Jordan Investment Commission of Jordan.
