Invitation to participate in the 32^nd Surajkund International Crafts Fair in India

Surajkund International Crafts Fair is a much acclaimed event organized in the state of Haryana in India every year from February 1-15.  The 30th Surajkund International Crafts Fair will be held from February 2-18, 2017 at Surajkund in Haryana bordering Delhi. The last edition of the Fair in February 2017, saw participation of cultural troupes and artisans from 22 countries where 1.2 million visitors visited.

Cultural troupes comprising of 10-12 artists and 3-4 crafts persons and 1 assistants each from the Kingdom of Jordan are invited to participate in the forthcoming Surajkund International Crafts Fair. The cultural troupe could perform on the open stage especially designated for cultural performances while crafts persons along with their two assistants could showcase and sell their ethnic crafts in the specifally created working huts (8*10 feet approximately) at the Fair. The Surajkund Mela Authority will provide the participants free boarding, lodging and local transportation including airport transfers free of cost during the Fair. Adequate publicity will also be done for the participants in the print and electronic media to promote their cultural performances, crafts and cuisine. The visiting artists and artisans need to arrange for their return air travel through local sponsorships.
