With effect from 5th September, 2016, the applications for visa to India will be received directly at the Embassy at ‘No.24, Al-Hidhab Street, Abdoun, Amman (Jordan)’ between 930 AM to 1130 AM. Applicants are required to fill up the online visa application (http://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/) and thereafter, the hard copy of the application (duly signed) needs to be submitted at the Embassy within the above-mentioned timings along with requisite supporting documents and prescribed fees. The applicants are advised to take prior appointment for submission of applications and other procedures.

Notice

Carrying of Satellite phones by foreigners into India is banned under Government of India regulations. Anyone carrying such equipment to India could be intercepted and the phone seized. All foreign nationals going to India are advised not to carry satellite phones to India in order to avoid any inconvenience.

Timings & General Requirements for Visas

All Visitors to the Consular Wing are requested to produce their valid Identity Card/Document to the Security Officer stationed at the entrance of the Consular Hall. In addition, the Visitors are requested to switch off their mobile phones, and make entries in the Visitors Book.

Receipt of Applications : 0930 hrs to 1130 hrs
Delivery of Passports/Documents : 1500 hrs to 1600 hrs
