Re-issue of Passport:

You can apply for re-issue of passport if you want another passport in lieu of an existing passport for any of the following reasons:

• Change in existing personal particulars.
• On the expiry, or up to one year before expiry of any Passport
• Validity expired more than one years ago.
• Exhaustion of pages.
• Damaged passport.
• Lost passport.

Re-issue of Passport  (having valid work permit)

A new Passport can be issued on the expiry, or up to one year before expiry of any valid Passport

Requirements

1. Application form (click here) completely filled in and signed.
2. 1 (One ) Passport size (5 cms & 5 cms ) identical photographs showing frontal view of full face with white background.
3. The current or recently expired Passport in original for verification and a self attested copy
4. Work permit (Tasreeh) and Residence Permit (Iqama) in original for verification and a self attested copies.
5. For change in existing personal particulars, relevant certificates in original for verification and self attested copies
6. For lost passport, police report and an affidavit from the applicant.

Re-Issue - Expired Passport for more than one year (having valid work permit)

Applications for expired (over a year) Passports must be submitted in person by the applicant.

Requirements

1. Application form (click here) completely filled in and signed.
2. 1 (One ) Passport size (5 cms & 5 cms ) identical photographs showing frontal view of full face with white background.
3. The current or recently expired Passport in original for verification and a self attested copy
4. Work permit (Tasreeh) and Residence Permit (Iqama) in original for verification and a self attested copies
5. Applicant is required to submit an Affidavit in the prescribed format (please see Documents) stating non acquisition of Jordanian Nationality.
6. ID proof carrying photograph of the applicant like Driving License, ration card, electoral ID card, PAN Card etc. (IDs should preferably be from India).
7. A letter from the Jordanian Interior Ministry/concerned authorities confirming non-acquisition of foreign nationality.
8. Personal Particular Form (in duplicate) for Police Verification (available at Embassy of India, Amman counter) may be required to be filled in some cases where identity is not conclusively established.

Re-Issue - Expired Passport and invalid Work Permit

Applications for expired (over a year) Passports must be submitted in person by the applicant. 

Requirements:

1. Application form (click here) completely filled in and signed.
2. 1 (One ) Passport size (5 cms & 5 cms ) identical photographs showing frontal view of full face with white background.
3. The current or recently expired Passport in original for verification and a self attested copy.
4. An affidavit from the employer in its letterhead stating that  the employer will take responsibility  for obtaining Work permit (Tasreeh) and Residence Permit (Iqama)
5. Applicant is required to submit an Affidavit in the prescribed format (please click Affidavit below) stating non acquisition of Jordanian Nationality.
6. ID proof carrying photograph of the applicant like Driving License, ration card, electoral ID card, PAN Card etc. (IDs should preferably be from India).
7. A letter from the Ministry of Interior/concerned authorities confirming non-acquisition of Jordanian nationality.
8. Personal Particular Form (in duplicate) for Police Verification (available at Embassy of India, Amman counter) may be required to be filled in some cases where identity is not conclusively established.

Passport for children: 

All minor children are required to have separate passports. A minor below 15 years of age is issued a passport with five years validity or till the minor attains the age of 18 years, whichever is less. A new Passport can be issued on the expiry, or up to one year before expiry of any Passport. Children between 15 and 18 years  have the option of applying for a minor passport  or a full validity passport.

2. 1 (One ) Passport size (5 cms & 5 cms ) identical photographs showing frontal view of full face with white background.
3. The current or recently expired Passport in original for verification and a self attested copy
4. The current or recently expired Passport having valid Visa or Residence Permit of Father, Mother and the child should be enclosed.
5. Consent of both the parents in the form of Annexure-‘D is required for the fresh issue as well as for every re-issue of such issued passport.
