Jordan India Friendship Society Jordan-India Friendship Society that has been existed for decades was re-launched on 28 February, 2015. Re-launching event was held at the Century Park Hotel, Amman. At the re-launching ceremony, H.E. Anil Trigunayat, Ambassador of India to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan briefly addressed the gathering on the essence and objectives of the Society. A Steering Committee was formed tasked with finalizing the Society’s future course of action including undertaking/participation at several Cultural activities in association with the Embassy of India, Amman to mark the 65th Anniversary of the establishment of Diplomatic Relations between India and Jordan. The re-launching of the Society is aimed towards realizing a strong foundation for people-to-people contacts between the two friendly countries. It is a matter of great pride while the historical relations between the two countries have continued to strengthen and diversity, the 2500 Jordanian who have studied in Indian educational institutions are instrumental in enhancing and enriching people interactions and appreciations of the two cultures.
